School Twinning Programme
At Kent With Ukraine, we believe that the future of our communities lies in the hands of young people. That’s why we are proud to support schools in Kent and across the UK to develop meaningful twinning partnerships with schools in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine.

Our School Twinning Programme connects pupils, teachers, and whole school communities, opening doors to cultural exchange, joint learning projects, and lasting friendships. These partnerships give students the chance to learn about each other’s history, culture, and daily lives, while also building solidarity and resilience in the face of shared global challenges.

Benefits for Schools include:

-
Enriching the curriculum through real-world global learning.
-
Promoting cultural understanding and empathy among students.
-
Inspiring joint projects in subjects such as history, geography, languages, and the arts.
-
Developing leadership skills and international awareness in young people.
-
Building a sense of solidarity and community between Kent and Ukraine.

We are ready to support schools of all sizes — from village primaries to academies and independent schools — in finding a suitable partner school in Ukraine. From the first introduction through to collaborative projects and long-term exchanges, our team will guide you at every step.

Examples of our recent school partnerships can be found below. If you are a headteacher, governor, or teacher interested in twinning your school, please get in touch — we would be delighted to support you.
