We are proud to announce that our Founder, Jordan Meade, has been appointed to the Unburned Foundation (Neopalymi) Неопалимі as a Special Advisor, and as Secretary of their Advisory Board.
This appointment reflects both the growing international recognition of Unburned’s vital work and Jordan’s continued commitment to supporting Ukraine through meaningful, on-the-ground initiatives that deliver real impact.

Founded in response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Unburned Foundation (Neopalymi) has established itself as a leading organisation providing specialist treatment and rehabilitation for individuals suffering from severe burns, complex scarring, and traumatic injuries caused by the war. Their work goes far beyond immediate medical intervention—offering a comprehensive, patient-centred pathway that includes reconstructive treatment, physical rehabilitation, and psychological support.
In a country where the scale of trauma is immense and long-term recovery can take years, this integrated approach is not only innovative but essential.
Unburned’s model focuses on restoring dignity, rebuilding confidence, and helping individuals regain control over their lives—whether they are civilians affected by attacks or members of Ukraine’s armed forces who have sustained life-altering injuries.
Speaking on his appointment, Jordan said:
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Unburned Foundation (Neopalymi) as a Special Advisor, and as Secretary of their Advisory Board.”
He continued:
“It is a privilege to be working closely with Максим Туркевич to support the continued growth and reach of an organisation, that since 2022, has been genuinely committed to delivering critical treatment to those affected by severe burns, scarring, and trauma caused by the war in Ukraine.”
Jordan has already been working closely with Maksym Turkevych, Founder of Unburned, to help strengthen the organisation’s international partnerships and strategic reach. This collaboration builds on shared values: delivering practical support, scaling impact, and ensuring that those affected by war are not forgotten once the headlines fade.
A key focus of Jordan’s role will be advancing veteran-focused initiatives—an area of increasing importance as Ukraine continues to defend itself against ongoing aggression. Supporting veterans is not simply about treatment; it is about long-term recovery, reintegration, and ensuring that those who have sacrificed so much are given the dignity and support they deserve.
As Jordan noted:
“I’m proud to be working on a number of veteran-focused initiatives to ensure Ukraine’s defenders get the dignity and support they deserve, and it was great to spend time advancing these causes with Maks in the City of London and Westminster last week.”
This appointment also represents a natural extension of Kent With Ukraine’s broader mission. From delivering humanitarian aid and medical equipment, to fostering partnerships between Kent and the Chernihiv region, our work has always been rooted in practical solidarity. Partnering with organisations like Unburned enables us to deepen that impact—connecting local efforts in the UK with life-changing outcomes in Ukraine.
At a time when the human cost of the war continues to grow, organisations like Unburned are providing not just treatment, but hope. Their work is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible—but only with sustained support, expertise, and international collaboration.
Jordan and the entire Kent With Ukraine team are looking most forward to supporting the Unburned Foundation as they continue to expand their reach, transform lives, and stand with those who have endured the very worst of this war.
