Governance and Kent With Ukraine Policies
Kent With Ukraine is committed to operating with complete integrity, transparency, accountability and respect for Ukrainian leadership. As a UK-based not-for-profit NGO working in support of Ukraine’s resilience, recovery and long-term partnership with the United Kingdom, we recognise that strong governance, safeguarding, financial control, risk management and responsible partner oversight are essential to maintaining public trust and meeting donor expectations.
Our policies set out the standards expected of everyone connected to KWU, including directors, members, volunteers, contractors, advisers, partners and representatives. They are designed to protect the people we work with, safeguard vulnerable groups, prevent misuse of funds or aid, manage operational risk, and ensure that KWU’s work in the UK and Ukraine is lawful, ethical and accountable.
We regularly review our governance arrangements and policies to ensure they remain appropriate to our work in the UK and Ukraine.
