Over the past few months, Ukraine has endured one of the harshest winters in decades. Koriukivka Remembered: Lessons from the Past and Present Resilience Against Brutality
This morning in Koriukivka, Cllr. Jordan Meade, representing Kent With Ukraine stood quietly at a memorial that marks one of Europe’s darkest moments. Between March 1 and 2, 1943, Nazi SS units and Hungarian collaboration units murdered over 7,000 innocent Ukrainian civilians here. School Twinning: Cobham Hall and Koriukivka Lyceum
SCHOOL TWINNING: At the beginning of our friendship with the Chernihiv Region we spoke about the importance of making sure that young people were at the centre of everything we do. I'm therefore thrilled that Cobham Hall School have become the first school in Kent to formally twin with a school in the Chernihiv Region since the signing of the Chernihiv-Kent Agreement last year.
