IN A SHOW OF SOLIDARITY AND FRIENDSHIP THE VILLAGE OF MEOPHAM, KENT HAS TWINNED WITH IVANIVKA TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY IN CHERNIHIV UKRAINE

 

Following Cllr Jordan Meade's humanitarian missions deep into and across Ukraine, Jordan approached Meopham Parish Councillors to see if they would be interested in twinning with a Ukrainian village in the Chernihiv Region of Ukraine, to which Kent formally entered into regional partnership with back in July 2024. After discussions at several meetings, Parish Councillors in Meopham unanimously voted to twin Meopham Parish Council with Ivanivka Territorial Community in Chernihiv.
