House of Lords Round-table on Defense Innovation and Resilience

The ongoing war in Ukraine has highlighted the urgent need for stronger defense capabilities and resilience. In response, we were proud to convene a high-level roundtable in the UK Parliament, bringing together senior parliamentarians alongside British and Ukrainian partners. This meeting focused on accelerating the development of critical capabilities to counter Russian aggression.

The collaboration also introduced new initiatives aimed at documenting Russian war crimes, countering disinformation, strengthening Ukraine’s energy decentralisation, and supporting the recovery of Ukraine’s veterans.

The initiatives launched at the House of Lords roundtable mark important steps toward a safer and more resilient future. Continued cooperation between the UK and Ukraine will be essential to sustain progress and adapt to new challenges.

The resilience of Ukraine, backed by strong partnerships, offers hope amid conflict. It shows that even in the face of harsh aggression, innovation and solidarity can build a path toward peace and security.
